And if that doesn't help, then you might also try it out at some smaller
dimensions to see if you get a better overall framerate. It may be that
720x576 is just too much to handle very quickly. I've not experimented
that much with attaching a camera - but I do recall that the bigger the
image, the smaller the frame rate was.
