[Red5] Scripting with Jruby - Error creating bean with name 'web.scope'

I have the latest version of red5 from trunk, Ant 1.7.0 and 1.6.0_03 on
debian etch. I followed the instructions for a debian install shown
here http://osflash.org/red5/debian
. So far my attempts to use the scripting features have be a total failure.
The main reason that I am trying to use scripting is that my java skills are
somewhat lacking but I am proficient with several scripting languages
including ruby and python. I created a very basic jruby application which
can be viewed at http://pastie.caboo.se/129614 .
I have tried starting the server from the red5-trunk directory via ant
server, from the dist directory via sh red5.sh and from the /usr/local/red5
vi red5.sh(copy of dist). All of which give me the same errors. Which can be
viewed at http://pastie.caboo.se/129612 . I have also tried using the jruby
version of the oflaDemo but I get the same exact errors. Is there some step
or required process that I am missing somewhere? I have googled for hours to
no avail. I can't seem to find any related information. Is this a problem
with the current trunk version? Should I checkout a previous revision?
Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom
