[Red5] connection limits

hello all,
i am about to use red5 for the first time in a live auction system, 
basically an audio feed only this time and
if that goes well we are putting a live video feed in it also.

i have not been able to get a lot of users on it to test loading for the 
system.  is there a limit preset in
the red5 system for the # of users that can connect at one time? I dont 
want to have a situation where
i get X # of people on it and then no one else can connect to the audio
