[Red5] What is the Problem with Streaming?

I'm not sure what I am referring to really. I am prusing the list
trying to find out more about it but am not sure where a certain post
where somebody asked what was keeping Red5 from being production ready
and one of the answers was the streaming problem.

Now that Red5 is up and running for JDK1.6 I am wanting to run it
(...on my production server).
