[Red5] New Application

I'm trying to create a "new" red5 application and I saw the howto on the
osflash site.  I'm curious into how to properly build the java file.  I
notice there is a build.xml file in the red5 directory.  Am I supposed
to use ANT to  build my class files?  If so, anyone have a tutorial for
that?
