We are adopting the open source development model. No one rules. So if you
think the work is valuable to the community, feel free to do it.
* Which one should I attempt to split? trunk / 0.6.3?
Not many architectural changes have been made to trunk compared to 0.6.3. So
either works.
* Can I use maven instead of ivy?
If maven makes the work easier, why not?
