You can use VH Screen Capture Driver. Is not Open Source but is free.

VH Screen Capture Driver is a DirectShow filter, which emulates Video
Capture card and captures screen activity. Then you can select your new
video device in your flash aplication like a web cam.

Take care with the config (resolution, colors, ...) This could be really
hard for your CPU or too much your internet conetion .
