[Red5] Re d5 Newbie Questions

Hello,
I am new to red5 and I have a few questions please!

1. Can I use red5 as a replacement for Flex Life cycle service (FDS?)
2. Can I get some examples?
3. Has Acegi security been implemented for red5 (FDS)

Any anwers will be really appreciated.
