Every thing seemed to work fine until my friend in france connected with
spotty wireless. Although I had no trouble with her broadcast. She wasnt
getting mine.

She has trouble on skype across the atlantic with her service provider
as well, so i dint take it hard.

If I limit my clients name a little and round down the numbers , I can
fit all the vectors in 1 kilobyte/client I think.
The new engine sends all client vectors in a single request instead of
on per client basis.
Workin' on scoping by variable distance, and creating sever side 'room
bounds' with dimensional portals between scopes. in essence, bounce off
the walls until you actually go through the portal.

I'd like to walk down a 'hall', and as i go past open doors, get a
partial view into the scope, retrieve some vectors, and display the
users inside close to the door.

Of course I could limit the entrance to an area server side, But I have
another idea to create an array server side for the cue into the scope,
and use the index of the user in the cue, multiplied by some vector, and
place the user in a 3d space, relating to entering the room behind
others in the cue. =) leaving a certain area would loose your place in
line. and no cuts!

It was FJ Pangolin - the maidenhead graph i believe.

Just testing some of the vector inputs and set up a room.

Every one in the room gets a moving projection of their webcam.

To try, get the cam out.
Load the swf
Click it.
Arrows keys to move. Page up /down to bounce. Enter= all stop.

Java source is here

Third person mxml template for the 'omnicron'(underlying java)
application is also available to browse. Workin on f.p. perspective
now, and into scoping by distance.

Not as cpu intensive as the other 3d engine, and even thoug not all the
vector update features are implemented yet, it is considerable smother
motion, as it works by velocities over time.

Vectors are tracked server side, and the server can add vectors to yours
as well(gravity, collision).

Any way...

Andy.
