[Red5] Trouble sending streaming video to RED5

Hi there!



I am working on a project about Red5. One of the parts of the project where I am in trouble consists of sending a streaming video since another server that transcode a video to flv format to red5. I am using vlc-player to transcode video and  the video output is driven by an url ( http://localhost:8080/stream.flv).
I have been analysing the code of red5 and all the classes are always refering to a flv file, but it is not able to accept an http address. I would like to know if I missed some classes and it is possible to make it or, by the way I have to introduce new classes to make this. If this is the point, I appreciate that you can tell since which classes I have to begin to modify code to get that Red5 will be able to play urls because I am a little lost testing so much classes
