Thanks!
One issue is that the google earth plugin gets its own thread separate of firefox/IE and all rendering visuals is hardware/java/OGL. Its cool!
So pure flash is a ways off. Most likely they will do what Im doing and write as much ExternalInterface calls as possible. THe issue is object references between js and as3. Im adding feature requests to the api but.....who knows...
Many ge api calls can be made directly from actionscript, but untill there is a json translator for it its a matter of reflecting as3 calls through js.

Andy,
Earthcast looks pretty sweet. The FPC was even better, hopefully Google releases a way to do this completely in Flash.

Hello,
Master slave controller. (EarthCast)

Assuming that only one of you people will log in at a time, the Enter 'Andy' as the name. This will give you control of all other 'logged in' users.
The v .2 version is not online at the moment which allows collada loading and editing by multiple users.
Also allows basic whiteboard over regular map projection of current location.
If there are two admins logged on at a time, the controlled users may experience some rather radical movements.
Basic chat:
http://thebitstream.com/google/fpc.html
Each user who joins you there will trigger loading a random human collada model, which they have contol over , and represents their current view.

Hey guys,
This is general abuse of the list to inform readers I have code to integrate google earth into red5 conferences including earth sharing and collada loading/editing
While the mac plug in is due out this month and 'google earth' not an incredibly hot item yet, I've got libraries to alow 1 user controlling of all earths, or users all controlling idependantly, the same earth and features.
Shamless plug, yes, but hey... Im hungry ;)
Rates Cheap!
