If you changed your sourcecode (your application's Application.java file) or
other included samples and made a mistake then Red5 might have rebuilt that
example application and 'crashes' on that application as it tries to start.
A good approach is to move out all applications from the subdirectory
"webapps" except "root" and perhaps "admin" , put it in a new directory like
"webapps_old" and try to restart Red5. Because it won't find any
applications inside webapps it has way less chance to break upon that.
Besides that Red5 changes from day to day, if you download the latest code
from SVN don't expect it to work all the time, look at that as alpha code,
until a final release (like 0.6.3. , 0.7.0 or 0.8.0) is out. And even those
can contain bugs that are often quickly fixed.
Anyway if you want to report an error on the mailinglist then ALWAYS include
the version number of Red5, how you acquired the source ("i downloaded
red5070.zip from xyz.com" or "downloaded trunk from svn on 19 dec 2008,
21:00") and if and what modifications you made to example code, a new
application etc. This isn't applicable to just you but to anyone who has
problems with Red5.
