[Red5] ebiuild on gentoo fails for Red5 - ERROR:dev-java/red5-0.6.3 failed.

well - the build updates all dependecies through ivy. if i am not mistaken 
this is not really needed, since all deps are already included in the tar 
ball...

it also means that reproducable builds are impossible and that its dificult to 
know, what excactly was built. 

i will fix it when i find the time.

the error you were seeing was a transient network problem that ivy 
encountered. 
ivy tries to download stuff from websites. when that fails, bacause your 
conection to the website is bad (for whatever reason) the build will fail. 
its not an error with the ebuild, but with your network connection (or with 
the server on the other end)

simply retrying it would have solved the problem as well...
