[Red5] Video recording question

I have made an AIR app. that records videos locally using RED5.

Once recorded and tagged I upload the videos to a web server where they can
be seen by other users.

The videos are about people giving tips to perform certain task in some
domains and they are 3 to minutes long.

The problem is, sometimes the people who are recording want to pause to
think what they will say next.

So, is there a way I can pause a recording and then resume it without having
to rerecord the video from scratch again?
