[Red5] Red5 newbie - couple of questions.

Hello all,

I was wondering the best way to set up my project: all of the examples
I have seen involve checking out the code and to start adding custom
code to the red5 codebase. Is there any way of separating this  maybe
by including a red5 jar file to my custom application? I just don't
like the idea of working within the red5 codebase as when it comes to
upgrading the red5 it would be easier to drop in the new jar!
