For what it's worth, you don't actually have to display the video
from the camera so you can make the page look like something else.

Subject: [Red5] automatically connect cam in background
is there a way to connect cam in background without having a web
page open? I am trying to set up a nanny cam system using red5, and
defeats the purpose if the baby sitter looks at the computer and sees
its broadcasting. And also is there a way to auto reconnect the cam
if
the connection breaks? As it seems to freeze now and then. Thanks for
any help guys.
