Adobe air would probably be best, that way it doesn’t look
like some random webpage is open. I’mnot sure if you can but
you might be able to minimize it to the icon tray also.
Create a camera object, and a netstream, then call ns.attachCamera.
You don’t have to display the video itself if you don’t
want to.

from the camera so you can make the page look like something else.

Subject: [Red5] automatically connect cam in background
is there a way to connect cam in background without having a web
page open? I am trying to set up a nanny cam system using red5, and
defeats the purpose if the baby sitter looks at the computer and sees
its broadcasting. And also is there a way to auto reconnect the cam if
the connection breaks? As it seems to freeze now and then. Thanks for
any help guys.
