thx for answere...
>>404 means that there is a webserver listening on port 5080
but it just doesn't have any content to display.
ok i meant not a 404 i meant "side couldent be found..." no custom or serversided 404...
>>Unless you mean you get a connection timeout in your
browsersorry that was what i meant!..
>>Go to your commandline and type "netstat -a" and verify if
you see a service listening on port 5080 and 1935 (RTMP) at leasti did that i have in eclipse the console output "Listening on port 5150" and also with netstat -a i do have something listening to port 5150...but thats all, not on port 5080 and also not on port 1935....>>Check the logs in the ./logs/ directory and make
sure there are no critical errors.uhm i would like to do that but i got no directory %RED5_HOME%/.logs ... is there a config file where i need turn logging in and may need to set the logging path?may one thing, former versions had a console output like "standalone startup done in X seconds", iam missing that somehow. And maybe one last question, my usage of red5 in actual project will be a Multiplayer Online Game with includet voicechat (like teamspeak)... in former versions scripting hat been implemented. do i realy need to do use eclipse, cant i install a binary and make the webapp´s in JavaScript maybe, may thats the easier way for me right now, because i don´t think it´s an red5 source problem, i just would like to use red5 for the first tests because may flashpart needs a working server now.thx for any tipp regarding the left logger dir and Scripting support...
