[Red5] Introducing RED5 to an existing web application

Greetings,

I'm an experienced Java web application developer who's quite new to
streaming and RED5. We've an existing JEE web application up and running.

Is it possible to integrate RED5's FLV streaming capabilities to this
application? If so how?

If it's not possible, how do you generally use RED5 as FLA streaming server
from an existing application?
