What exactly are the remaining issues with the decoder? We've been trying
to tweak the decoding to get rid of static at certain frequencies when
converting from G.711 but have had no success. Is the audio quality on par
with the earlier version that encoded into linear PCM as opposed to
nellymoser?

Thanks,

Subject: [Red5] Nellymoser decoder on Java ...

There is a 100% java implementation of the asao codec in the latest version
of the
red5phone checked in at http://red5phone.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/sip/ and
also in
the distribution file http://red5.4ng.net/sip.zip

Look at sip/WEB-INF/classes/org/red5/codecs/asao

The decoder works fine, but the encoder needs more work. It will be
interesting to
compare latency with Xuggle when the Xuggle version of red5phone gets
released :)
