[Red5] logrotate for red5

Hi,
for starting red5 server i write the command

./red5.sh > /var/log/red5.log 2> /var/log/red5.log &

and the output go to the red5 file...
this is the best way to have my red5 running???
if i want to rotate the red5.log file with logrotate the red5 server may
have problem??
i can't make test because the server is on production and he must be up 24/7
