Paul thank you very much. It works.

But now, I was downloaded with svn latest trunk 3890 of Red5 and compile and run it with command »ant server and run some samples. Starting Red5 with red5.bat produced errors:

Listening for transport dt_socket at address: 8787

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/red5/server/Boots

trap

Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.red5.server.Bootstrap

        at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:252)

        at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:320)

Could not find the main class: org.red5.server.Bootstrap. Program will exit.

Now I like to develop a new applicatin. For example serverside returns HelloWorld. I know programming in Java and in AS2 and 3. I was programming apps for red5 in version 0.6 a year ago, but now the things, I think, are changed. In 0.6 version i have to edit the build.xml in Red5 directory to every new application. What have to do now. I'm loosing the 3 days with this Red5. A lot of instructions are on internet, but there is a mess... versions... os... You have to read and try all those instructions, to see that they are not working. OK. I create the Applicaton.java file. What now. I see there in samples www and war directory ...

Please help me!

Thanks

B

Ant is not needed when you download a compiled installer version. Look in your services panel and start "Red5"
