[Red5] red5 recording... so, "append" does not work?

Ah now I see what you mean, sorry for the confusion!
I have made good experiences with FFmpeg in these cases. It should be
able to join FLVs so that they can played afterwards but I have not
tested that yet. Also, I know a tool called "FLVencoder", only by its
name though. Maybe that can do the same.
