Here is the setup

http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/repository-howto/repository-howto
http://www.webmo.net/support/yum_repository.html
http://fedoranews.org/contributors/richard_flude/repo/

can setup a site on the server debian.red5.org and redhat.red5.org

Debian / Ubuntu /etc/apt/sources.list.d/red5.list
deb http://debian.red5.org/ hardy main
deb http://ubuntu.red5.org/ hardy main

Redhat / Fedora / Yum

[Red5]
name=Red5 Repo
baseurl=http://redhat.red5.org/
enabled=1

Im guessing the yum repo has to be done on a redhat machine and then
files copied across as the red5.org machine is ubuntu ??
