Hi,
Is there any implementation that the client flv players can have a cache
of the playing flv file like in the case of progressive download(the
light-coloured part of the Youtube slider that shows instantly seekable
parts of the video)?
I have large video files(~1.5hrs) to be served to users as VOD. There
will be lots of seek commands issued on the files, users will see only
scenes of the large files, not the whole file. Do I need a streaming server
like Red5 or a progressive download server?

I'm aware of the below post of Walter Tak but I need to know if there's an
update about this.
