[Red5] Upgrading from version 0.6.3 to 0.8

Hi,

I am having problems with red5 freezing video, I hear that 0.9 also has
problems but 0.8 is good, is this true? 

If it is true, apart from unistall and install the new version, is there a
change in what to do? Do I still use Ant/command prompt to configure?

I have tried installing the new version but can't seem to make it work, I
wondered if I needed to do something in addition?
