Is there any way to use java5? or any particular reason why red5 will now use Java6?
Java6 is too intimidating to use on a real system. it was not tested enough in real situations outside sun.
Ido.

Right now I dont think it will compile on anything less than java6, I have not tested compiling on java5. The scripting stuff should throw a bunch of errors on compile in java5 due to the missing javax.script.*; I have a strategy to fix this but I didnt get to it last night.

does that mean we require Java6 now to build Red5 or can we still use
Java5?
