[Red5devs] Stream static file question

I've been working with Red5 for a few weeks now, and while I have most of what I want working, I'm stuck on (what I think is) a simple problem. After reading documentation, tutorials, etc I am stuck trying to implement one final feature of my application.

What I am trying to do is have a user login via a flash application and display a list of static sound files that belong to that user (I've got this part working). Where I am stuck on how is I take the static file (say wav, mp3, etc) and stream it back to the Flex client via the Java application. I want to be able to call a function in my Java application, get the binary data for the sound file (this part is done), and stream it to the client (this is where I'm lost). Does anyone have any sample code or suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance,

Matthew Gamble
