Hi Dominick,
Wow, thanks everyone. I really appreciate the vote of confidence.
That said, I'd like to keep the same approach I have been using --
which is to first post the issue I find in Jira, then post the patch,
and ask that the owner of an area where I propose a patch to first
review it. I'm happy to do the ugly leg work of checking in approved
changes then -- thanks Paul for committing the ones I submitted so
far.
Let me know if that works.
My personal gmail account is art.clarke at gmail.com, but I'd prefer to
use aclarke at vlideshow.com if possible (set up with gmail). I have
already set up a Jira account under aclarke.
My Skype-ID is artbclarke.
Lastly as a progress report, over the weekend we documented all the
tests we'll be submitting for the Flash tests, and have started
reworking our build process to fit more nicely into Red5 for those.
We also have a test Hudson server up and running that builds red5,
runs the JUnit tests, and then runs all the flash tests with a
"headless" flash client, taking virtual snapshots of the flash screen
every 5 seconds and posts them to hudson once the tests finish. It's
SWEET.
Thijs and I are working on getting a standalone server that's not
running in a San Francisco apartment up and running, but I'm hoping to
submit this patch by end of week.
Thanks again,
- Art
