Please help me. I had posted this to the users mailing list, there were 4
other guys who had the same problem and no solution. Search on google showed
many more who have the same problem. Please help me developers.
I have downloaded the latest jdk and set up properly, also the ant and set
the PATH
I downloaded the source from latest svn trunk in google code.
Next I did the "make" and everything built properly to the dist folder
then I ran the server using ./red5.sh after logging in as root. I use CentOS
4.5 - dedicated server hosted on the internet.
I have asked the host to open the ports 5080 and 1935. I have verified it
using a port scanner in my local system and it says listening on 5080 and
1935 when I started Red5
After running, when I access the HTTP server on 5080 it worked. But the
sampled did not.
When I click the connect the connect button, on my server SSH terminal, I
get some error messages containing the keyword "due to Long handshake"
I have uploaded the server log file -
http://prasna991.googlepages.com/red5log.txt
Please help me solve this problem. What should I do to get the samples to
work..
P.S. I have also changed some port numbers in the red5.properties file as I
got some error on startup.
But I have not changed the 5080 and 1935 numbers.
I have changed socket to 8433
and appended 3 to any port numbers below 1024..
