From Paddy.Keane at wai.co.uk Wed Jan 24 11:41:48 2007 From: Paddy.Keane at wai.co.uk (Paddy Keane) Date: Wed, 24 Jan 2007 16:41:48 -0000 Subject: [Ripple] example compile time error Message-ID: Hi guys, I've just downloaded this project, when I publish either example .fla in Flash 8 I get: ----------------------- **Error** \org\osflash\ripple\Document.as: Line 189: Type mismatch. x.load(location.getAbsoluteURL(url)); Total ActionScript Errors: 1 Reported Errors: 1 ------------------------ If I change the offending line in Document.as: From: x.load(location.getAbsoluteURL(url)); To: x.load(location.getAbsoluteURL(url).href); When I publish the movie it freeze and I get the 'abort script' prompt... Does anyone know what could be causing this? Maybe the newer XPath Classes from xfactorstudio?
