Hi kiroukou,

If you've installed all required software (java, ant, swfmill and mtasc)
correctly, it's supose to be very simple straight forward. Here is a little
reminder to install this stuff correctly :

- Java : after running the installer, be sure to add the "JDK_HOME/bin"
folder in the PATH environment variable. Add an environment variable called
JAVA_HOME that point on JDK root folder.

- ant : after extracting the archive, be sure to add the "ANT_HOME/bin"
folder in the PATH environment variable. Add an environment variable called
ANT_HOME that point on Ant root folder.

- swfmill : after extracting the archive, add swfmil folder to PATH
environment variable (optional but recommanded)

- MTASC : after extracting the archive, add MTASC folder to PATH environment
variable (optional but recommanded)

Now you can run SAM-UI properly. Double-click on the JAR. The first step is
to create a new project (you can't open 0.3 project with version 0.4). Click
in the menubar :

> File > New...

Choose your project folder, if it doesn't exist it will be created. Now the
next step is to do the initial configuration of your project. Use the
properties editor to set output swf, background color, framerate, classpath,
main class, etc...

Now just click on the 'play' icon on the toolbar. The compilation will
proceed and the SWF will be launched within SAM-UI.

Each time you compile the project, the configuration is saved.

I hope it will help you :)

-Nicolas

Subject: [samui] How make it working ?

Hi,
I've tried to make samUI 0.4 working, but it seems I'm not good
enought ;) I've installed ant, swfmill and mtasc. The path for JAVA is
set. I've a prompt message from mtasc, no errors, but also no swf when
i run the project !

Can you explain to me the procedure to follow (even the basic one) to
have a project which runs?

thanks
Kiroukou
