Yeah,

You could just make the product page a blog entry and simply link to it.

I use Ray Camden's BlogCFC code that requires Coldfusion and a
database (MySQL, SQL Server or Access). My site is hosted by
SmarterLinux.com and they are very reliable.

BlogCFC is fairly simple to set up and doesn't require a great deal of
maintenence. And it doesn't seem to have any problems with blog spam
like other systems.

Where are you hosting the site (or is that an issue)?
