Armand,

Some great work you have done there. I was wondering if you were going to
wait for some other design suggestions ( I don't know what is the final
deadline). Also have you guys decided what technology is going to be used
(PHP/mySQL/CF/WordPress)?
Hello Helmut,

my suggestion for now would be to use plain html for the website. I can make
a Dreamweaver template from the html and then all pages (mostly the links in
the navigation since the graphics & colours will be defined via CSS) will
update by changing the template.

To maintain the site I suggest using MM Contribute; I know it's not free,
but it's quite powerful for users who want to contribute to a site and since
it comes with Studio 8 I suppose many will have it. Contribute has support
for multiple users/roles, edit pages directly on the server, prevent editing
the layout if the site is template-based, support for sending a page to be
reviewed before being published, rollbacks and so on.

Using this method gives us flexibility and keep it simple, whereas a blog
engine would limit us (easy to publish content, but hard to organize the
different sections, make it NOT look like a blog and so on). The way I see
it, the site will have about 15 pages (news, products, about/contact, 5
pages for SW3 and 5 for SW4), so maintaining it shouldn't be a problem.

I will wait for suggestions for now.

Armand
