Hi there,

I've just suscribe this list lately.

I'm an owner of an early SW2 licence and released numerous commercial apps
with this marvellous software, I had to consider changing to another
software because of the discontinuation of SW and the non-support of flash7,
I regretted also the disparition of the outstanding forum support section.

I'm very enthusiastic with the new OSSW project and enjoy being involved in
this list (mainly on interface design and use issue). I wish you would
continue the good job done before, also continue to put as much quality into
the help files ;)
I can see that some people who where at the origin of the project are still
here ;)

A: Do you know approximatly when you will release a pre-version of SW4?

I'm looking forward for the crossplatform features, because it's the only
way of doing viable commercial projects, the only concern I had with SW2, is
the double coding necessary for the Macintosh version...

I hope you will add in SW4:
- the possiblity to generate a configurable installer automatically for each
platform (to avoid playing the content from the cd-r each time)
- a clear documentation mentionning which features are available for each
platforms and which are dependant to one system.
...

B: about splash screen, my opininion is: if it's seems logical, it should be
implemented by default, without adding one more exception, the less
exceptions you add the wider audience you'll gain, isn't it?
