[screenweaver] Future directions

I've been using Screenweaver for an alpha version of an open-source
eLearning project in the world of HVAC energy-efficiency. Our team has
been really happy with the application except for one critical piece
that's essential for our project: communicating with a local resource.
We need to run a simulation engine locally alongside the
Screenweaver/Flash app, and need to communicate rapidly with it in order
to exchange simulation data.
We are trying to use the swInterface.callDLLMethod but are plagued by
the restrictions on data types and the number of variables. This is a
deal-breaker for us -- which is really unfortunately because I love
working with Screenweaver. So, my question to the SW powers-that-be is:
will the next version of Screenweaver have a more robust way to
communicate with DLL's -- or perhaps .NET assemblies? If so, what is the
target date for release? I don't see anything on the developers Wiki
under roadmap or TO DO.
As always, thanks for putting your personal time into the project and
making it available to the community at large.
