[screenweaver] Future directions

Hi Daniel,

A solution to your problem might be to write your own Screenweaver 3 COM
plug-in. The COM plug-in system allows for greater control over
data-types being send back and forth. Two such plugin examples can be
found in the repository at:

https://secure.sourcesecure.co.uk/trac/osflash/screenweaver/browser/three/trunk/src/plugins/sw%20joystick
https://secure.sourcesecure.co.uk/trac/osflash/screenweaver/browser/three/trunk/src/plugins/sw%20builder

In its current state the Screenweaver 4 sources would offer you the
broadest abilities to bind to back end code, but it comes at a price:
1) It doesn't have a default set of extensions like SW3 has 2) There's
no default API nor a project builder: all of that must be taylor made in C++

Cheers,
Edwin
