Almost, but I never found enough time to pursue that component bug
that we came across a while ago on the #osflash channel. I actually
have some work time scheduled in for tomorrow to look at the
viability of moving our CMS front-end entirely over to swfmill/mtasc
compilation, so maybe I can get somewhere then.

In my spare time I'm currently working on another book, and I plan to
feature swfmill and MTASC quite heavily. I'll probably contact you in
a while about this once things are really under way.

First of all, thank you for swfmill - being able to see swf files
described as XML has made me very happy indeed. Out CMS system is
built entirely around XML, so this might one day lead to some kind of
basic swf editing functionality in our application.
In terms of the future, my one big bugbear at the moment is not being
able to compile component .swf files in without the components
behaving strangely. As I said, I'll try and see if I can work out the
difference between a .swf containing the Button component when
compiled with swfmill versus when compiled by the IDE. If you have
any ideas in the meantime, that would, of course, be awesome!
