[swfmill] include AS1 code in swfmill?

I'm trying to use swfc in the swftools package, but I get an error. I
tried two different versions for a test, same error:

error signature:
AppName: swfc.exe	 AppVer: 0.0.0.0	 ModName: msvcrt.dll
ModVer: 7.0.2600.2180	 Offset: 00032a16

I also tried getting a new copy of msvcrt.dll, but did not help

I know this is not the swftools list, but I'd appreciate any ideas...
