i still have problems with autogen on mac osx

- - installed pkgconfig (port install pkgconfig)
- - i checked out swfmill/trunk with eclipse
- - applied the patch with eclipse
- - touched ChangeLog
- - started ./autogen.sh

the error
> checking for pkg-config... yes
> ./configure: line 18836: syntax error near unexpected token `XML,'
> ./configure: line 18836: `PKG_CHECK_MODULES(XML, libxml-2.0)'
is still appearing
