The problem is here the vserver is an  Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU
running opensuse 10.1 - my box is an amd 64 running opensuse 10.2
as exected my local build doesn't work on the vserver :-( which offers only
128 MB RAM  min to 500 MB max.
Is it possible to configure  the build process to use disk space instead 
of ram?
