[swfmill] Embedded fonts looks dfferent for flash8 and flash9 and different from Flash CS application

I don't think this is causing the problem. Normally there is only one
font width in a ttf file and so swfill doesn't have access to the bold
version. And swfmill only sets the bold tag in the swf file when the
imported font is marked as bold. When you use swfmill -v you can see if
swfmill thinks if a font is bold.
I've uploaded my work on the DefineFont3 stuff to the svn. I've also
added DefineFont3 support to the ttf import. The code is a hack and
needs some cleanup, but I think the results look promising. I didn't
have time to test the code much, so if you test it please report your
results.
