Took me less than expected... adding 'version="8"' to the movie tag
fixes the kerning problem.

The most peculiar thing though, the kerning problem does not appear
(even if you don't specify the version) if you use "simple" dialect,
only if you use xslt transformation... even if you use xslt
transformation with clean simple dialect.
