[swfmill] Error In Use

I receive an odd error when trying to use swfmill... I've tried 
importing a png file and a jpg but they both result in similar errors.

jpg used...

runtime error: element apply-templates
swft:import-jpeg<> : failed to read file 'graphics/backgrounds/space1.jpg'
ERROR: transformation failed.


The same applies with the png file of the same name. I've used the 
command line...
swfmill simple library.xml content.swf

I'm not sure what it is I'm doing wrong, but hopefully someone can point 
me in the right direction.
