Your best bet for that is the source code combined with the SWF
Specification published by Adobe. Unfortunately swfmill uses different
names to the spec in some places, so it can take a bit of
investigation, trial and error.

Another thing to do is to produce roughly what you want in the Flash
IDE, then decompile the resulting SWF with swfmill to learn how it
works. Of course, depending on what you’re doing, that might defeat
the object of using swfmill at all.

There is a tool checked in with swfmill that generates documentation
for the full dialect, but it isn’t much use yet. I will start to
improve that and upload generated documentation soon.

There’s lots of other stuff that needs documenting too and I will try
to upload drafts as I go along and keep everyone informed via the
list.
