Hi Aral,

I respect your work and read your blogs And you are one of my all-time
favorite flashers! :) But...

This is actually first time I used swx for production. Up until now, I was
using different types of remoting for my as3 projects, but for this as2
project I decided to give swx a try.

Anyways, I have no idea how to handle charset encodings. "Manual" doesn't
say ANYTHING about it. Btw, manual in form of blog posts is BIG FAIL mate.
There are better ways to make online manuals (wiki?). This one is completely
useless for developers. And yes, I am hard core developer who lost his cool
after spending 2 hours browsing through different blog posts, so pardon my
attitude..

I am fetching iso8859-2 data from database, and displaying it in flash.
While I was using amfphp, this was really simple thing to configure
$gateway->setCharsetHandler( "iconv", "ISO-8859-2", "ISO-8859-2" );

To make things even more confusing... I added conversion to amf.php and I
can see iso8859-2 chars correctly in service browser.

But, as I understand amf.php is not used while performing swx php rpc calls.
I haven't found any examples on how to use amfphp trough swx.

What do to? Where to go?
