[swx] max 70 twitter calls per hour?

hi everyone,

after my SWX app spontaneously stopped working, I discovered (using the swx
data analyzer) that I can only make 70 twitter calls per hour.

my question is: is this restriction caused by SWX, or by the Twitter API ?
And what happens if I have multiple browser windows that all run the same
twitter application? Do their calls to SWX add up? Or can they each make 70
calls per hour?
