[WiiFlash] IR's with the latest server/ api

has anyone worked with creating your own IR bar and the api?

I have a test SWF that shows me all the properties of the wiimote after
connecting, and ir1 is always found, but ir2 is never found.  I've changed
the batteries, double checked that they work, so, I'm wondering if it's
something I'm missing.

Even if the wii isn't pointing at the IR's, IR1 always reports found.  I
gotta be missing something :)
