I litterally did exactly what Tim described in the email.
I bought 4 High capacity infrared LED's at Radio shack along with some low
voltage wire and some wire crimps (the red things in the picture).
wired it the way he described, used foam packaging from my Dell computer box
and just cut it to my liking. I used one of the USB cables lying around and
bingo - works great!
