If you are running XP and trying to use wiiflash 0.3 then you may need
the .NET 3 runtime. (which comes with Vista)
I have had loads of problems with this on my HP laptop which has built
in HP bluetooth device and is running Vista.
It was detected by the builtin BT device and windows BT stack - but
nothing detected by wiiflash 0.3.
I then found another bluetooth dongle which was lying around and it
happened to use the bluesoliel drivers which I was able to download from
the bluesoliel website - (demo only) - I used the brand new version 5
driver (supports vista) .
With the bluesoliel drivers I was able to install the wiimote and get
it working with wiiflash 0.2 , but not 0.3.
But even though wiiflash .0.2 shows that it is connected - it seems to
drop the connection after only 30 seconds or so . . . (might be the demo
drivers . . .who knows) .
And then to reconnect I have to disable the bluetooth dongle -
re-install it and then reconnect the wiimote.
would love to get this thing working so I can actually start some
development.
